Proposal of the Sadip method of multifunctional rehabilitation

Abstract

The Sadip Method of multiprofessional rehabilitation conducted by physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists and psychopedagogues proposes the interactive concept of the techniques that make up a set of resources in the approach, used, in the multiprofessional assessment and treatment of functional, motor, sensory disorders. and cognitive disorders resulting from injuries or development of the Central Nervous System. This Method proposes a reflection on the concept of the rehabilitation process that has as its final goal the social inclusion of the person with a disability and the characteristic of dependence of this type of action the unit of integrality the functions of the rehabilitation team, including the realization of the diagnosis functional and the facilitation of the adaptation of the patient and his family to the new reality, with the understanding of its limitations and potentialities. In order to better intervene in the issue of disability, there is a need for the joint action of professionals from different areas, since the integral understanding of the human being and the rehabilitation process inevitably involves teamwork, a practice in multiprofessional work and an interdisciplinary approach. , therefore, interdisciplinarity is a concept that applies to the production of knowledge and multiprofessional work relating to productive practice in the rehabilitation of patients. Currently, many health programs are guided by this socially articulated perspective of care. However, more knowledge is still needed about the processes underlying health teamwork, given its limits and frequent difficulties.
