Abstract

Newborn Hemorrhagic Disease is considered to be a rare condition and even though there has been considerable success with its prevention, research shows that the incidence of the disease indicates an exponential increase in cases. As such, it is crucial to address the issue, in order to expand recognition of the importance of vitamin K as prevention and treatment, both for health professionals and the general population.
