Abstract

Abstract: The present work report the finding of the tick species Amblyomma romitii Tonelli Rondelli,1939, in S Francisco do Guaporcity, west of Rondia state, in the mesoregion Madeira-Guapor The specimen was found in a capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) found dead on a farm in the region.
